Each year, 7th grade students at BJHS are given the opportunity to experience Outdoor Education. This program, which has been in the district for nearly 40 years, takes students outside of the classroom and into the woods. For one week (Monday-Friday) students camp and take classes outdoors. One such class was Environmental Art.
Students were introduced to the artwork of Andy Goldsworthy and were asked to create ephemeral, site specific works of art that coexist with nature. Students could work individually or in small groups.
